My name is Serrina Snyder I am the Respite Manager in Port St Lucie, I have 4 years of lived experience with substance use after the passing of my mother I fell into active addiction and was arrested in 2018. Moving forward I started my recovery journey on 10/17/19 when I went to treatment after violating drug Court numerous times and knew that my experience strength and hope could be used to help others in their journey whether it was with substance or mental health if I could just stay clean. I graduated from Drug Court in July of 2021 and have been inspired to become a Peer Specialist so that my stories can inspire others and we can walk through this journey together.
