My name is Mason Jennings. I’m a U.S. Army Veteran who served a combat tour in Afghanistan with the 70th Engineer Battalion, where I earned a Purple Heart and Combat Action Badge.
After returning home, I faced challenges adjusting to civilian life and struggled with PTSD and substance use. Over time, through faith, perseverance, and support from my family, I was able to rebuild my life and rediscover my purpose.
Today, I’m a proud single father of two and passionate about helping others overcome adversity. As a peer support specialist, I use my lived experience to connect with people who are struggling, offer understanding without judgment, and show that recovery and personal transformation are truly possible.
