Hi there! My name is LaKenya Ruffin, and I serve as the Lead Outreach Supervisor and Certified Recovery Peer Specialist for IGNITE Youth Alliance.
I bring lived experience and knowledge to the community that I serve, while embracing what I truly love to do and that’s to serve with a purpose.
Being a positive adult in a young person’s life brings much joy and it allows me to understand some of the struggles and challenges that some ladies go through day-to-day. Self-awareness and accountability are deeply connected and are some of the skills I focus on when providing services to those I serve.
I’m very passionate about making a difference in one’s life and look forward to doing so each time my feet touch the ground.
