My name is Kathrine Joiner. I am a Mental Health Court Peer Specialist in Okeechobee County. My role is to assist peers who are currently suffering from both legal and mental health issues. Back in 2015, I started working at a local Detox Center, and with me recovering from MH issues, I realized that people have bigger issues than I do. Whether they are self-induced or not, IT’S WORTH THE FIGHT FOR RECOVERY.
