Before entering peer support, I worked as a chef, where I developed a passion for serving others and creating meaningful experiences. Over the past year, I’ve supported individuals in their sobriety and personal growth, and I deeply value being part of their recovery journey.
Now I can bring lived experience with substance use and mental health challenges, and through my recovery journey, I developed a strong desire to support others on a similar path. My experiences have shaped my empathy, resilience, and commitment to helping individuals find hope, stability, and purpose.
I am passionate about building genuine connections and offering encouragement as others grow and heal. Outside of peer support, I enjoy playing bass guitar, creating music, and spending time at the beach to stay grounded and balanced. I am proud to work for a company that accepted me for who I am and where I’m at in my journey.
How awesome is it that I can have a job that supports my recovery while helping others in there.
